This is a wood carving of a wood spirit. This very unique piece of original wall art makes a perfect wood gift. This original sculpture makes a great birthday gift and is a great collectible.

This wall-hanging wood carving measures 35cm tall, 15cm wide and 6cm thick.

This sculpture was created in a Acacia knot. Any place a branch of an Acacia tree meets the base of the tree a knot is formed. When the tree falls down and rots away, the only things that remain are the pitch-filled, resilient knots. It is said that there are spirits that inhabit the knots that allow them to remain in-tact long after the rest of the tree has rotted away. Every knot is unique, stable and beautiful. With this creation the spirits are released.

This is a wall-hanging sculpture, created by hand. This is a one-of-a-kind carving. There will never be another just like this. All works are signed and dated on the back of the wood spirit carvings.
